Protecting WA home and property buyers for 15 years
ALI Group celebrates 15 years of protecting Australian home and property buyers with our Western Australian brokers
ALI Group celebrated its third major 15th-anniversary event with a cocktail function at The Old Brewery in Perth on Thursday, October 18. The event was a chance to celebrate the achievements of ALI Group in being the leading provider of Loan and Mortgage Protection and recognise WA brokers leading the way in customer care.
The company was founded in 2003 and has since partnered with major aggregators including Aussie Home Loans, Loan Market, Mortgage Choice, Connective and Plan Australia to name a few, allowing them to develop a network of 4,500 mortgage brokers Australia-wide. Through these authorised brokers, this year ALI Group will reach over 200,000 Australian home buyers from financial hardship, paying out over $100 million to claimants in their time of need.
The event was opened by Business Development Managers Alexis Halsted and Leah Hutchings. CEO, Huy Truong gave a recount of the beginnings of ALI Group before outlining some of the company’s achievements, challenges and challenges during its 15 years in the market.
As the event occurred during the Breast Cancer Awareness month, it was fitting to welcome a guest speaker to the event from Breast Care WA. Melissa Del Poppolo (Breast Care WA) spoke about the true costs associated with breast cancer treatment, reinforcing that consumers should be prepared for the unexpected – and the role brokers can play in this.
Truong also took an opportunity to congratulate some of the state’s high-achieving brokers. In Western Australia, long-time supporter Maxine Farmer received a recognition award for protecting over 750 customers with LPP. In addition to Martin Ireland, Lihong Shi, Jamie Nani, David Foot, Russell Crook were recognized for protecting over 250 customers with LPP. Throughout ALI’s 15-year events, it has been wonderful to see the support shine through from its authorised representatives, as they’re the key in achieving ALI’s mission in protecting Australian Home and Property Buyers from financial hardship.
