ALI Group Broker of the Year Awards 2018

ALI Group Broker of the Year Awards 2018

ALI Group has announced the winners of their Broker of the Year Award for 2018.

The Broker of the Year Award has been an annual event since 2014 and was established to recognise and thank authorised brokers who have excelled at integrating loan protection into their loan process and client care.

The award winners are assessed on a balanced scorecard of consistency, quality, number of clients protected and commitment to having all their customers making an informed decision about risks and protection against financial hardship.

ALI Group CEO, Huy Truong says “these awards seek to shine a spotlight on brokers who have excelled at educating and protecting their clients with loan protection. In the current environment, we believe it’s more important than ever that brokers demonstrate client care beyond lending, particularly when we know that majority of clients do not readily have access to this type of insurance. Whilst customer care is the primary purpose, offering loan protection will also generate a valuable income stream to ensure a more financially robust broking business. I congratulate all the winners from 2018. They all run high quality businesses as evidenced by their client base and ability to add value beyond lending. This year, we have also introduced a $5,000 and $2,500 grant for the national and state winners respectively to invest in an approved marketing or professional development program.”

The introduction of the grant money is to further ALI Group’s support of brokers in building better businesses.

“We look forward to working closely with the winning brokers to develop their chosen initiatives over the next 12 months and will share how the grant money has further supported the broker and their business”, says Truong.

Queensland Mortgage Broker, James Florance of Mortgage Choice, who has been named the 2018 National Winner says:

“It’s a pleasant surprise and I feel very humbled for the recognition of doing something that I truly believe in, which is protecting my clients and their families. My clients put their trust in me with what will be their biggest financial commitment, the purchase of their family home. Mortgage Protection is an essential element in this process, making sure my clients are fully informed, educated and protected if the unexpected should happen is something I’m passionate about”.
