ALI Group’s Broker of the Year events kicked off in early March. The events were in aid of our annual awards, which, were established in 2014 to recognise and celebrate authorised brokers who are leading the way when it comes to client protection and offering Loan Protection Plan as a solution.

In Victoria, on Friday 13th March, ALI brought together over 75 of the top brokers, partners and aggregators for a celebratory event at Melbourne’s Vue De Monde, an exclusive culinary destination for both Melbournites and visitors. Set on level 55 of the Rialto building in the Melbourne CBD, our guests enjoyed the extensive views of the city skyline which made for a stunning backdrop for the four-course degustation.

ALI CEO, Huy Truong welcomed guests and thanked the brokers for their ongoing support over the years. Later in the evening, Victorian State Manager, Dinh Robley, presented the Victorian Broker of the Year, which was awarded to Warren Freeman of COSIMFREE Home loans.

Warren has been authorised with ALI since 2006 and is a passionate believer in protecting his clients as well as being an overall fantastic role model and mentor to other brokers. In the past 12 months, Warren has settled over $35.5 million in loans and protected over 100 of his clients with Loan Protection Plan.

This year, there was a new award presented for emerging brokers. This award is for brokers who have only recently become authorised with ALI but have shown a great dedication to protecting their clients. 

In its inaugural year, the Emerging Broker Award was presented to Jessica Pablo of Aussie Home Loans. Jessica has been authorised for under two years with ALI but in that time she has protected over 35 clients with Mortgage Protection Plan and boasts an impressive policy to loan ratio of 1:2. However,  it is Jessica’s passion for ensuring her clients have some level protection when entering a large debt, which is why we are awarding her the Emerging Broker Award.
