ALI Group WA Broker of the Year 2020
ALI Group Broker of the Year 2020
Western Australia
ALI Group’s annual Broker of the Year events have officially begun around the nation. The annual awards were established in 2014 to recognise and celebrate authorised brokers who are excelling in protecting more Australian home and property buyers with Loan Protection Plan (LPP).
In Western Australia, ALI brought together 34 of the top brokers from around the state to enjoy a celebratory three course lunch over local wines at the beautiful Matilda Bay, which sits on the wharf at Matilda Bay.
Brokers, aggregator partners and ALI’s CEO Huy Truong, along with ALI’s WA State Manager, Alexis Halsted and BDM, Leah Hutchings shared in the culinary experience, whilst enjoying the breathtaking views of the venue’s lawns and waterfront.
The team at ALI were proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of WA brokers, who have made loan and mortgage protection an integral part of their processes with WA home buyers.
Together, ALI and WA authorised brokers are working to protect their clients from financial hardship.
Though, there was one broker who stood out the most and that was Richard Wright of V Homeloans who operates under Connective. Richard was named WA’s Broker of the Year and deservingly so. Richard has seen firsthand what happens when someone goes through life changing events and doesn’t have protection and on the other side has also seen what it means for someone when they do have that protection in place to fall back on during tough times. In light of experiencing both of these scenarios, Richard has made offering protection an imperative part of his process and truly believes in the importance of protecting those entering a large debt.

ALI Group decided this year to showcase an emerging broker too. Sergio Coelho of Movement Finance received the WA Emerging Broker of the Year award for his incredible efforts in making protection for his clients a priority.
Congratulations to both Richard and Sergio and also to all the WA brokers for their outstanding efforts.
