Introducing My Protection Plan

Introducing My Protection Plan

You might have noticed a few things have changed around here recently and if you have a few minutes we would love to tell you more!

ALI Group’s mission, first and foremost, is to protect Australian home and property buyers from financial hardship. This mission is always at the core of everything we do and has paved the way to some exciting updates and changes to our product.

We have excitedly launched a new product My Protection Plan

A common misconception of our prior product, Loan Protection Plan, is that we are linked to a loan or lender, which has never been the case. So, to make sure potential policyholders fully understand our protection plan, we decided to change the name of our protection plan and whilst we were at it, we made a couple of other updates too. Existing policies with ALI Group remain unchanged and these updates are only effective for My Protection Plan policies started from 22 June 2020.

ALI’s My Protection Plan

Still boasts great features, providing cover for three main benefits, including a Trauma Benefit, with cover for 13 serious medical conditions. We have now included cover for Cardiomyopathy* and Surgery to the Aorta*, bringing the total number of insured conditions from 11 to 13.

A Death and Terminal Illness Benefit, with a lump sum payout that can be used for any purpose – paid to a joint policy owner, estate or a nominated beneficiary.

A complimentary Accidental Injury Benefit which provides up to 3 months of benefits, for each policy year, where you cannot work for more than 30 days due to a disabling injury^. What’s more, if you are not working at the time and experience a disabling injury, which prevents you from being able to perform two or more activities of daily living then you will also be eligible for cover.

And there are other benefits too…
- Fast financial assistance, when you need it the most.
- Flexible cover to suit your needs and budget.
- Access to our Extra Benefits – where you can offset the price of your premiums through access to discounted gift cards from popular retailers.
- Peace of mind that if something unexpected were to occur, you have a financial backup plan in place.

We’re doubling the complimentary period!

For a limited time only, if you take out an ALI My Protection Plan, we’re going to double the complimentary period. We understand the first couple of months of managing new finances can be daunting. So, you can rest assured, the first couple of months are on us! It’s extended complimentary cover, for your extended peace of mind. This offer is only available until 31 August 2020. See full terms and conditions here.
