Chief Executive Officer and Co-Owner
Huy has had an extensive business career ranging from strategy consulting to running and starting businesses. His experience includes:
- Management consulting with the Boston Consulting Group
- Founder and CEO of online retailer wishlist.com.au (e-commerce)
- Chief Executive of Carter Holt Harvey Tissue AFH (FMCG)
- CEO of Jurlique International (healthy and beauty)
- Private Equity with CHAMP Ventures and Co-Founder of Yarra Capital
- Co-Founder and Deputy Chairman at Thrive Refugee Enterprise
Huy is also a Director of the Australian Glass Group (building materials) and has an Honours Degree in Economics from Monash University and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
Chief Financial Officer /Chief Operating Officer
Dan joined ALI Group in May 2009 as Chief Financial Officer and over time this has evolved to include operational responsibilities including technology, policy administration and claims management.
Prior to joining ALI Group, Dan has held a number of senior finance roles, including Director of Group Finance at Allco Finance Group and product management for life products at Westpac.
National Sales Manager
Gabrielle has been with ALI Group since its inception in 2003. Prior to this, Gabrielle spent 19 years at Westpac in a variety of roles covering both lending and insurance.
Having seen firsthand the difference having adequate insurance can make in times of hardship, Gabrielle is passionate about working with brokers to ensure that their clients are given access to convenient and affordable loan protection.
Head of Risk and Compliance
Julianne joined ALI Group in 2012 as Head of Risk & Compliance, bringing with her a unique skill set which she has gained from over 25 years in the lending, financial planning and managed investments arena.
Prior to joining ALI Group, Julianne has worked at PLAN, where in 2000 she launched the aggregator in Queensland. Julianne was also Head of Compliance and Risk Manager for Broker Platforms for Challenger and Advantedge.
