ALI Group is proud to announce, together with our brokers and in partnership with The Otis Foundation, we have donated 488 nights of retreat accommodation around Australia, for those who have been impacted by breast cancer.
It has been incredible to see so many of our brokers from around the country, take part in this campaign and in doing so supporting Breast Cancer Awareness month.
For every night we have donated, we’re helping The Otis Foundation reduce their longer than usual waitlists and allowing for more families to enjoy some much-needed respite, where they are able to create long-lasting memories together and escape the stress of a breast cancer diagnosis, at no cost.
Claire Culley, CEO of The Otis Foundation says, “we currently have 642 guests on our waitlist. This is higher than I would like due to the lockdowns, particularly in NSW and VIC, however it is trending down and the ‘October ALI Campaign’ will certainly help many, many guests.”
Did you know?
3,000 Australians will lose their life this year to breast cancer? With another 55 Australians being diagnosed every single day¹. A breast cancer diagnosis doesn’t just impact the person with the illness either, it impacts family, friends, colleagues and loved ones too. This is part of ALI’s ‘why’ when it comes to partnering with The Otis Foundation and the reason we want to support those impacted by this disease.
