ALI Group starts the New Year with exciting new initiatives. They announced the launch of Aussie Mortgage Protection Plan (an Aussie branded insurance product) which will soon be released nationally and they now have a new addition to their management team, enabling the specialist risk insurer to take full advantage of the opportunities 2014 presents.
Ann Gallagher (pictured) is ALI Group’s recently-appointed Regional Sales Manager for NSW, ACT and QLD. Ann is tasked with driving her team of Business Development Managers to increase business from accredited brokers as well as engaging key industry stakeholders, including aggregation and brokerage groups.
Ann joins ALI Group from Liberty Financial, where she was NSW State Sales Manager for over three years. She brings to the team a wealth of industry knowledge, an appreciation for the intricacies of third party distribution and a strong background in sales management and consulting. Prior to Liberty, Ann’s sales leadership expertise was developed and honed at IMB and St George and other blue chip companies such as Avis Europe, Avis America and News Corp.
Ann’s focus at ALI is to capitalise on the changing mortgage market and support her team in partnering with brokers wanting to add new revenue streams to their business. ALI Group’s NSW and QLD BDMs have been gathering momentum over the past 12 months, as new recruits have now settled into their roles.
“My immediate priority is to ensure we manage the implementation of the white labelled product we’re launching into the Aussie network, as smoothly as possible.
This not only means making the launch a success but it also involves maintaining our existing business and important relationships" says Ann.
The addition of Ann to the management team will also allow Gabrielle Moscati, Regional Sales Manager for VIC, TAS, WA, SA and NT, more time to focus her energy on her region and the successful implementation of new initiatives.

ALI Group celebrated 10 years of business in 2013 and is poised for some exciting developments this year, “we’ve built some pretty impressive new tools for brokers” says Ray, “and we have made a substantial investment in the digital space. In 2014 brokers will have the ability to offer ALI Loan Protection online, including mobile devices, removing the need for paper applications and the associated processes. We will extend these benefits to the broader broker network and better target our products for the ever evolving market.”
